Morgan has an insatiable curiosity that drives him to understand the human experience, both in his work at ThinkPlace and in his off-duty mountain pursuits. His deep connection with the land is coupled with a sense of justice that gives him a strong interest in indigenous communities.
With a peacefulness born of experience, Morgan is calm under pressure. He enjoys the challenge of jumping in the deep end, immersing himself in the unfamiliar and understanding situations from the inside out. Morgan works to keep the Wellington studio humming and also has experience as a field research assistant, in office administration and in workshop catering.
Morgan is currently pursuing a Masters in Cultural Anthropology at Victoria University after graduating with a double major in Chinese and Cultural Anthropology, with a minor in Spanish. He also spent six months as a volunteer English teacher at Yibin University, Sichuan, China.
