With over a decade’s experience in user research, research synthesis, storytelling, visual communications and strategic design, Wee Kiat excels in turning research insights into visuals that drive transformation.
He works with a diverse range of organisations in Singapore, in both the public and private sectors, and enjoys bringing people on the design journey to see what the world looks like from their users’ perspectives.
Wee Kiat has run many design thinking and innovation workshops for multinationals, small and medium enterprises, start-ups, education institutes and Singapore government agencies to co-create ideas for new products or process improvements, and to grow their own design capability. He has also created compelling narratives to tell the stories of people interacting with public services, prompting clients to think in new ways about how services can be delivered. Wee Kiat’s talent for bringing research insights to life has led clients to wholeheartedly adopt these personas, helping to generate fresh ideas grounded in user research.
Wee Kiat has an honours degree in industrial design, along with masterclass qualifications in design management and interaction design.
