Amy believes in the potential of human-centred design solutions to support, build and innovate across physical and digital communities. She brings a diverse skill set with a background in science communication, data research and visual design to ThinkPlace's most complex projects. Amy's expertise in UI design and data visualisation allows her to approach and execute projects with micro-scale precision, enabling complex visual work to be executed professionally. She is also passionate about using visual language to engage, educate and incite change within complex systems at a macro scale. This breadth of skills has enabled her to be a design lead for a range of cross-disciplinary projects including working for clients such as Transport NSW, Association of European Cancer Leagues, the University of NSW and the NSW Electoral Commission. Amy's strength in connecting big picture strategy to current situations, processes and techniques, has led to her working on digital communications campaigns for clients such as the Australia Defence Force Academy, CSIRO and Dementia Australia.
