Cybelle is driven to contribute meaningful change with positive impact through collaborative design. She aims to create the environment to empower and enable people to work together to better understand and solve complex problems. Cybelle has a unique ability to balance empathy, strategic thinking, creativity and the energy and focus to deliver results. She is renowned for taking people outside their comfort zone to challenge the status quo with the aim of truly understanding the problem, thereby providing the opportunity to design better experiences.
Cybelle has 15 years public sector experience. She is seen as one of the driving forces behind the uptake of collaborative, human centred design within a number of federal
departments. Her focus on designing and delivering better government services through a human-centred approach, has seen her lead many cross-agency collaborations. Cybelle’s broad experience ranges from driving change in London for a social welfare agency, working with NGOs in Nepal to influence better education and health outcomes, to collaborating across the education and business sector in Australia to design and deliver new programs. She has presented at national and international conferences on co-design. Cybelle has a deep belief in the importance of life-long learning. Over the past 10 years she has undertaken numerous design courses, including the Design and Innovation specialisation through Darden School of Business.
She holds a Masters in Management (ANU) and Masters in Professional Communication (USQ).
