Megs is passionate about the use of design to drive positive social change and empower people – she is especially interested in the use of design to improve health and wellbeing outcomes. Her enthusiasm and love of research is a reflection of her curiosity and desire to understand the world around her.
Her background in health and emergency services have made a human‑centred outlook second nature – as well as given her experience interacting with people from all walks of life and who have a range of abilities understanding public systems.
Megs has a Bachelor of Visual Communication Design (First Class Hons) from Massey University. She has been awarded membership of the professional body of typography, the International Society of Typographic Design, through international assessment.
