Rhueben believes in humanistic approaches to create transformative change in the lives of those navigating for progress in their lives. He is inspired by working with likeminded people to lift the socio-economic status and livelihood of New Zealanders.
Rhueben specialises in design that turns complex information into compelling stories that deliver impact and clarify value. He is building his skills in service design while crafting his use of semiotics to influence and connect with a diverse mix of people.
Rhueben has provided data visualisations for client workshops and prototypes for service design products. He has visualised journey maps and created infographics for Pasifika Futures, Beef and Lamb and Ohomairangi.
Rhueben has a Bachelor in Visual Communication Design, (First Class Hons) from Massey University. He was a finalist in the Best Awards for the informative booklet ‘Hear Our Voices’ commenting on the use of te reo Māori in Aotearoa. His company The Umu Pack was a finalist in the ANZ Pacific Business Awards for Most Innovative Business.
Rhueben belongs to the Pacific Business Network and is proud to be one of the 1.6% of New Zealand business owners who are Pacific Islanders.
