Sheila is an avid admirer of human behaviour, a visionary and deep thinker with an interest in solving complex challenges. She envisions a space where all that is deemed impossible to solve, tackle or dissect is made possible by incorporating design-led approaches.
Sheila is excited by the generation of deep and meaningful insights, testing ideas, and using innovative approaches to design products and services that meet user needs, from research design through to execution.
She has conducted immersive research on the prevailing fundraising (harambee) behaviours of rural Kenyans to design new product features for a Kenyan fundraising platform; a deep dive into the complex Kenyan education system to understand their digital awareness and create a simple, reliable education platform for children, youth and adults.
She has also been involved in organisational based, behaviour change projects to restore morale, ensure cultural compliance and promote positive energy among staff.
With a background in business and operations, Sheila always starts by taking the personalities and condition of a project into consideration, to create powerful solutions that are contextually aware and sustainable.
