Lillian’s passion is using human-centred, data-driven design for social innovation. Over the last 20 years, she has led teams and designed for a variety of services and products. Before joining ThinkPlace, Lillian designed smarter healthcare systems based in artificial intelligence at IBM Watson Health, and created predictive, personalised financial products at Intuit, empowering individuals to take control of their own finances.

Previous to that, Lillian co-founded Well Made World in New York City, a studio focused on social innovation. During this time, she helped the United Nations build ‘The Intercultural Innovation Award’ – a platform that scales and replicates grassroots projects that encourage intercultural dialog and understanding around the world. In addition, Lillian managed events for SheSays, a global creative network focused on the engagement, education and advancement of women in creative and technology. She has curated events in New York and San Francisco, bringing women together for mentorship, networking, courses, career management and collaboration. 

Lillian has deep expertise in data-driven design, human-centred design thinking, and is a skilled facilitator in design strategy, research, multidisciplinary collaboration and agile processes. Having lived and worked in North America, Europe and Asia, she thrives in multicultural environments and global teams.\
