New ZealandMondy is passionate about helping people be heard and understood. She believes the way to unravel complicated issues is to listen authentically to others. Her mission is to ensure people’s experiences, beliefs and emotions are communicated to decision makers in an insightful and actionable way.
Approaching her work with deep empathy and determination, Mondy is unafraid to tackle the most complex societal challenges. With a blend of well-developed methods and intuition, she can uncover useable insights that reflect the essence of human experience.
While working on diverse projects with people from all walks of life, Mondy has assisted policy makers, chief executives, indigenous land owners, IT managers, social housing tenants, parents and citizens who live on the streets. She is a member of the Global Ethics Team for ThinkPlace and led the development of ThinkPlace New Zealand’s design research system and code of research ethics.
Mondy has a BS Degree in Sociology and a Masters of Public Health with Distinction. Her leadership on An Insight into the Experience of Rough Sleeping in Central Auckland earned her team gold in the Best Design Awards 2015.
