Faye is a factual storyteller with practical and academic experience designing communication to convey complex information.
Faye has over six years of professional experience in communication and multi-media storytelling. She has worked at the forefront of various industries: with The New York Times and Monocle Magazine in publishing; with former Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd and Senator Anthony Chisholm in the world of government; and with Queensland Ballet and Brisbane Festival in the creative arts industry. She holds two undergraduate degrees in Journalism and in International Relations and has recently completed a Master of Environmental Management and Development.
Faye is passionate about tackling the world’s most complex problems with a creative approach. As a factual storyteller, she is deeply passionate about using communication to reduce information gatekeeping and create engaging content to address accessibility. Her design philosophy for communication is simple: everyone is intelligent and compassionate. Through her research and career, Faye has had the opportunity to advocate for the use of audience research and data analytics to develop user-centric strategies that effectively use visual, digital and multi-media tools to address complex issues.
