WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene)

Billions of people across the globe still lack access to Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH). Clean drinking water, proper sanitation facilities such as toilets and sewage systems, and hygiene practices including safe food preparation and hand washing stations are all pillars of a healthy, resilient, and productive society.

ThinkPlace is committed to shifting behaviour changes at scale, improving the quality of life in vulnerable communities.

What we do:

  • Shift hygiene behaviours and the uptake of medical treatments that have a significant impact on health
  • Drive the creation of strategies that promote pro-WASH behaviours using SBC(C) and other human-centred approaches
  • Develop WASH interventions that are human-centred and tested directly with the communities whose behaviour they are intended to target
  • Support innovation within the sector to foster the development of new products, services and programs
