Beth has over seven years of experience, applying her knowledge of Service Design across a diverse range of public and private organizations in complex sectors such as Finance, Health, Education, Housing, International Borders, and Welfare. Her project outcomes have encompassed experience strategies, human-centered digital and offline services, digitally enabled environments, and public policy changes. She is highly adept in human-centred design methods including: ecosystem mapping, planning and running qualitative research, root cause analysis, workshop planning and facilitation, concept design, prototyping and service blueprinting. Beth is expanding her practice in their fields of systems design and policy design. Beth has led design projects with some of the UK’s largest public service providers, including defining the experience of moving across UK borders post-Brexit, and designing the UK Covid Vaccination Service Experience for: central government, local government, medical professionals, assistance stand, and citizens, which received international media praise. Within ThinkPlace, Beth has led work within Somalia and Sudan for increasing vaccine uptake for zero-dose children in hard to reach areas, as well as, defining government investment plans and policy directions for expanding connectivity in hard to reach areas within Malawi.
