Hjalte Prag
Business Designer
KenyaHjalte is a behavioural designer driven by a passion for applying behavioural science to design solutions that create meaningful impact. He is deeply interested in understanding the factors that shape human decision-making and uncovering the underlying mechanisms that influence behaviour across different contexts. By integrating a behavioural lens into design, he aims to develop interventions that are both evidence-based and highly practical.
With a strong background in experimental design, behavioural research, and field testing, Hjalte specializes in designing, testing, and scaling behavioural interventions that bridge the gap between knowledge and action. He has extensive experience conducting quantitative and qualitative research, executing field experiments, and applying behavioural insights and nudging to tackle complex challenges.
Before joining ThinkPlace Kenya, Hjalte worked at iNudgeYou – The Applied Behavioural Science Centre, where he conducted field experiments for public and private organizations. He is particularly passionate about integrating human-centred design with behavioural science in rural settings, recognizing that while local contexts are ever-changing, grounding interventions in core behavioural science principles ensures effectiveness and long-term impact.
Hjalte holds an MSc in Business Administration and Psychology from Copenhagen Business School, specializing in behavioural economics, experimental methods, and project management. His master’s thesis focused on sustainable nudging through field experimentation
